Pinion seals are designed to support a dynamic rotating motion to seal fluids, grease or other materials against leakage. However, today’s pinion seals, typically designed as a radial lip seal enclosed around an input shaft (yoke), are pressed into the case bore or pinion support.

High Endurance Pinion Seals

Lightweight engines produce more horsepower and must endure higher cylinder pressures and extremes in temperature. Some rubber compounds lose elasticity over time and equipment that experiences both heavy use as well as long periods of storage, places stress on rubber sealing components, leaving them vulnerable to failure.

Our pinion seals, designed for motorcycles, ATVs, snowmobiles, bicycles and marine engines, are manufactured from tested compounds and proven engineering. Our seal design improves the positioning of the primary sealing lip and reduces the risk of contaminant ingress in the gap ahead of the primary seal.
